How it works
Participants/bicyclists* meet at the Club Congress and bike to selected bars. A map will be provided. At each bar the participant must pick up a particular New Belgium pin (different at each location) & return it to Club Congress. This is proof to how many locations the contestant went to.
After returning to Congress, participants will have the chance to complete a small obstacle course and the polar bear plunge (inflatable slide into a cold pool).
Participants will receive raffle tickets based upon the level of participation to win a 2012 New Belgium Beach Cruiser.
(See How to earn raffle tickets)
Participants may bike, skate, unicycle, BMX, walk, skip - AS LONG AS ITS HUMAN POWERED
Cost of Entry
Online Registration: $20/person
Registration Day of: $25
Entry fee will be waived for participants that have raised $20
Local Bar Participation
Participating bars must be willing to have 60+ riders come through their doors between 4-6 on October 1st and offer New Belgium Beer specials (bottle or draught*). Any donations of bar merchandise (shirts, hats, etc) are welcome for raffle prizes - please see Raffle Donations Needed for more info.
ALL participating bars are encouraged to put together a team of riders. Each member of the teams will also be competing as an individual in chances to win the 2012 Bar teams and local business that are not stops on the tour are more than welcome to enter teams.
