Who are we trying to help? What issue are we trying to address?
The aim is to see girls free of poverty and violence in the communities that value equality, respect, rights and participation in development.
The target groups are girls especially orphans, barmaids, uneducated girls, homeless girls and house girls from and living in the poor and indigenous areas of Ukerewe, Sengerema and Magu Districts, Mwanza, Tanzania.
What is our project and how will it help?
Our project will engage and provide vocational training for women and girls who missed or were unable to continue with secondary education. We will help them to give these people different courses, including courses in tailoring, weaving, carpentry as well as computer courses taken by different people in different spheres of government and non-governmental organizations and even some parts separately. This is due to the development of science and technology evolved dramatically in Africa and the world at large.
This is how these innocent girls will get trasformed and get supported through this project.
By giving the targeted group vocational training, they will be able to be self-employed and to be self-relience and also they will be able to employ others.
