Founded in 1970, ECLC of New Jersey is a nonprofit that offers "Education, Careers and Lifelong Community" to children and adults with special needs.
ECLC runs two schools, in Chatham and Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J., educating nearly 300 children with acute special needs from ages 5-21. As students prepare to graduate, our employment affiliate, Community Personnel Services (CPS), provides transition services, helping students find meaningful jobs in their communities, placement in our P.R.I.D.E. day/evening program, continuing education or another option. Our goal is find the best fit for our graduates to continue learning and growing in the adult world.
The ECLC Foundation supplements funding for all of these entities and supports afterschool and evening activities, therapeutic horseback riding, respite weekends (overnights), alumni enrichment classes, adult services and capital projects. Learn more about ECLC at www.eclcofnj.org.
