In March 2015, I will have the exciting opportunity to travel to Nepal with the Red Panda Network to study red panda conservation. I will spend 15 days assisting red panda keepers at a zoo in Kathmandu, travelling the country in search of red pandas in the wild, immersing myself in the culture through local homestays and participating in many of the RPN's conservation programs.
I feel incredibly lucky to again have the chance to combine my passions for travel and wildlife conservation in an international adventure. However, this time I can't do it without your help. The Chattanooga Zoo is generously supporting this effort but I need to raise additional funds to help with the costs of the trip and airfare. And I'm not too proud to beg!
In return for your generosity I promise you loads of adorable red panda cuteness, tons of travel photos and a blog of some sort. (I could even be convinced to run a 5K in a red panda costume if I meet my fundraising goal, just sayin.) Most importantly, you can feel good knowing that you've made a contribution to the incredible work that the Red Panda Network is doing to conserve red pandas and their habitat. Even a few dollars would help so much!
