BENEFITING: CAMP FATIMA INC
On Friday, March 22, 2013, The 3rd and Final Larry Doyle Time will be held with all proceeds to benefit Exceptional Citizens' Week at Camp Fatima in Gilmanton Iron Works, New Hampshire.
In August of each year, a week is set aside for a co-ed camp for children and adults with mental and/or physical challenges. This special week is known as Exceptional Citizens (EC) Week. The campers are catered to by an enthusiastic and energetic volunteer staff. The camp is run solely on contributions and is entirely free to all campers. Larry Doyle was a volunteer at EC Week and believed in the need to provide fun and happiness to these campers. The Larry Doyle Time will be a great way to both honor his life and to ensure that E.C. Campers continue to enjoy this highlight to their year and quite possibly their lives. My Uncle Larry Doyle used to volunteer at the camp and he passed away 3 years at the age of 43, so now I go up in his place to volunteer and work with these Exceptional Citizens.
Over the past 2 years we have raised over $36,000 with your help to benefit EC Week at Camp Fatima. We were able to build a much needed shower house that was dedicated to Larry Doyle and Paul Barry with these funds. Help us in our 3rd and final fundraiser to reach our goal of more than $50,000 in 3 years!!! We can do it with your help!!!!!!
I am appealing to you to request your consideration of a donation to this special event. The Larry Doyle Memorial Fundraiser to benefit EC Week at Camp Fatima will be held on March 22, 2013 at Florian Hall located at 55 Hallet St. in Dorchester, MA. The evening will be fun-filled with live auctions, silent auctions, a 50/50 cash raffle and raffles of donated prizes. There will be a DJ, live Irish music and a light buffet. Any donation of auction items, raffle prizes, or a monetary contribution to this event would be greatly appreciated.
All proceeds are fully tax deductible. The tax id number is 02-0258169.
