BENEFITING: SUMMER HOPE FOUNDATION
For the past several years, I've been using my birthday as a way to raise money for the Summer Hope Foundation, the non-profit organization that I started 12 years ago dedicated to supporting those touched by cancer.
Last year, my Facebook friends (and beyond) all donated to support my birthday wish, raising a whopping $2,100. Never satisfied, I've upped the stakes a little more: $33 from 100 friends raising $3,300 for Summer Hope and the Summer Hope family. I'll need your help to get there. I understand if everyone can't donate or spare the money. But you can hit 'share' and ask your friends and family who might be able to help.
And kids, here's a life lesson for your lovable curmudgeon Eddie: Spoiler Alert - Your thirties aren't so bad. Especially when you have the support of 100 of your closest virtual friends. Thanks, as always, for all your support.
