BENEFITING: ASIAN CHILDRENS MISSION
This project provides education for 800 children from poverty-stricken families in a slum area of Punjab, Pakistan. Families which are living there cant afford cost to give education to their children because of poverty.Thats why they put their children into work labor instead of education.Our experience in the field revealed that there is an urgent need to address some of issue concerning the education of poor children in the urban slums in Punjab Pakistan.
What is the issue, problem, or challenge?
Poverty prevents children from accessing basic education. Children are taken out of school to help support their families and work, and often have to marry very young.
How will this project solve this problem?
The main goal of this project is to develop and contribute for an effective implementation of poor children education in affected community.
Potential Long Term Impact
To improve the quality and effectiveness of their education and social development for poor children To ensure the implementation of adequate measures for poor children education in the urban slums. To develop strategies to engaged parents ,community leaders,schools and government officials to support,promote and advocate for poor children education. To mobilize community for active participation in enrollment and retention of poor children in school.
Poor people need education and hope.
