Education All Summer '16
Organized by: The New Path For Change
Our goal as a program is to socially re-condition the children of the Afrikan Diaspora through educational programs that reinforce the concepts of collective work and group economics.
The program seeks to provide students with educational experiences that will develop their ability to think clearly and critically, to express themselves accurately, and to develop their awareness of the rich and varied areas of knowledge. We will offer a variety of courses that focus on success through teamwork. Our history courses will serve to prove the importance of understanding these concepts by making connections about how they have impacted Black history. With the foundation of the past, we will work together in the present to create success for the future. We will offer courses in Business, Science and The Arts. The student participants will also be required to take a Specialized High School Admissions Test Preparatory Course.
The money raised will allow 30 students participants and 18 student mentors to benefit from the summer program. All material will be provided by The New Path for Change.
