Many children had been out of school for the past two years as a result of insurgents activities in North East Nigeria. In a rural community where life has become extremely difficult in one of the ravaged state of Adamawa where Boko Haram has destroyed a lot of school is where I started school for children mostly that are orphans and some come from families that are just peasant farmers. About 72 pupils are currently receiving lessons under improvised thatch class room without desk /tables. some learned under trees where the temperature is as high as up to 40 degree Celsius. There is urgent need to construct class room, provides desk/chairs, provision of water through drilling of borehole , purchase of textbooks and other instructional materials as well as supporting stipends for volunteers teachers . Fund raised will be entirely directed towards these objectives. Nigeria economy is already in recession and as such it has become difficult for some of my friends supporting the project when we started eight months ago to do so. kindly donate towards giving hope to these children.
