"Four walls, five rooms, a tin roof vulnerable to regular rain, immense heat and persistent insects. In the village of Woadze Tsatoe in Ghana, this is the reality that students face each and every day. This year’s Stern International Volunteers: Ghana class is partnering with organizations dedicated to creating lasting impacts in this community. Adanu is a non-profit that uses empowerment rather than charity to advocate community development, while Clean Water for Everyone and Studio 189 are social enterprises that initiate sustainable solutions for clean water access and employment. While the SIV: Ghana class is there to help, those who live in and around the village will be the ones creating change in their own community. Your donations are an investment and help them do just that."
