Edward Murray, one of four children, grew up in New Haven Connecticut and by the age of six EJ was involved in a multitude of school sports, including: baseball, track, and basketball.
During his senior year of High school, EJ learned his life was about to change as EJ discovered he was a father to- be.
After leaving New Haven, traveling to Boston for college, while recruited to play football for Mount IDA College,, EJ had a critical choice to make: college or his son.
EJ made the right choice for his family and continues to move in a positive direction. His close knit relationship with his parents, siblings and son are apparent as they are the center, and love of his life.
Edward junior, now, four years old and EJ’s greatest accomplishment continue to keep EJ centered. as he prioritizes family.
At present, EJ focuses on building his career as a State police officer. EJ’s dedication, commitment, drive and warm heart, led him to boxing as his friend Troy Gutierrez, founder of the nonprofit charity COTI shared information regarding: Fighters4LifeBoxing Charity Event at Gleason's Gym.
E. J feels giving back to others is crucial while he supports various causes, thereby making the world a better place for his family and others.
COTI, a Fighters4Life featured charity, serves the children of Latin America bringing much needed funds, medical care and necessities to impoverished children in the region.
EJ feels raising awareness and funds is imperative and the impetus behind COTI’s success. Ej currently resides in Connecticut.
