"When a country educates its girls, its mortality rates usually fall, fertility rates decline, and the health and education prospects of the next generation improve.” – World Bank
We are a group of 58 executive MBA students from Ivey Business School committed to supporting women's education in advancing gender equality. We have partnered with Free the Children's WE Villages and OurWrite to raise $50,000 to build school rooms in the Maasai Mara community of Kenya. These school rooms will provide educational programming for the young girls of that community.
We plan to reach our goal by the summer of 2018, with several of us going to Kenya to participate in the school rooms build.

We Charity - WE Charity empowers change with resources that create sustainable impact. We do this through domestic programs like WE Schools and internationally through Free The Children’s WE Villages. The unique partnership with ME to WE ensures that WE Charity achieves a remarkable rate of financial efficiency, with 90 percent of donations going directly to youth-serving programs.
OurWrite - OurWrite strives to allow ‘Every female to be their own superhero.’ We achieve this by building, maintaining and supporting female-centric schools and community centres. These centres focus on providing young girls in developing nations the opportunity to learn. Specifically, girls get the chance to build basic skills such as,reading, writing, and comprehension. In the future, these basic building blocks ensure their long-term employment and economic well-being.
We are a collection of international volunteers who believe in the right to literacy for girls all over, particularly in developing nations. We pool our talents in organizing and fundraising then collaborate both with local and international partners to build facilities where learning can take place.
