I've hit my goal! I'd like to give a massive thank you to all of my initial donors that took me to $250! To those of you that are still interested in supporting me on this trip, please feel free to continue donating here. Although I have hit my goal, any spill over will contribute to the overall group helping the other EF Scholars reach their goals and our organization reach our $3000 goal. Your financial support will be greatly appreciated by the other scholars and of course, myself. As always, thank you all for your continued support!
With Greatest Appreciation,

Thank you for stopping by. As many of you may know, I'm a computer science student at Kansas State University however, fewer of you may know that I'm also an Edgerley-Franklin Scholar. I was drawn to this organization because of my desire to help thirsting communities and I identified with their goals to influence and inspire future generations to value education, hard work, academic achievement and career success. I'm thrilled for our opportunity to learn and serve in Boston, Massachusetts this spring break. Your financial support will be greatly appreciated and as always, thank you for your continued support.

The Edgerley-Franklin Urban Leadership group is supported by both the Edgerley and Franklin families to promote future engagement with the challenges facing urban communities and families. The Urban Leadership Scholars Program seeks to shape the next generation of great American urban leaders. As Urban Leadership Scholars we have the knowledge to make sound judgments, the character to flourish under the pressures of leadership, and the vision to bring new solutions to our nation's most pressing urban needs. We influence and inspire future generations to value education, hard work, and achieve academic and career success.
Over Spring break we will be traveling to Boston, Massachusetts for an educational, service trip focusing on the importance of youth development in urban communities. This trip will allow us to actively engage with a community in need and live out our mission of service as we work with the Boys & Girls Club of Boston. We will have the opportunity to interact directly with youth as mentors and tutors providing career guidance and college preparation support. In addition, we will have the opportunity to learn about the operations of one of the most successful Boys & Girls Clubs in the country and the impact such programs have on urban youth. Your financial contribution for this trip will help us share this priceless experience. Thank you very much for your consideration!
