Family and friends!
I've hit my goal! I'd like to give a massive thank you to all of my initial donors that took me to $250! To those of you that are still interested in supporting me on this trip, please feel free to continue donating here. Although I have hit my goal, any spill over will contribute to the overall group helping the other EF Scholars reach their goals and our organization reach our $3000 goal. Your financial support will be greatly appreciated by the other scholars and of course, myself. As always, thank you all for your continued support!
With Greatest Appreciation,

Hey friends and family! I am currently a senior in Construction Science and Management at Kansas State University. I am going on my 4th year with the Egerley-Franklin Urban Leadership Scholars program, and it has been a program where I have grown in character. I have dedicated each of my spring breaks during my college career to work with the Boys & Girls Club. I have been able to do these trips with fellow EFs and also other students at K-State. I worked with the Boys & Girls Club once in Kansas City and twice in Chicago. My goal for these trips is to have fun with the kids by engaging them in activies and also talking to them about the importance of education and hard work. I have developed a passion for working with the youth, and I hope with these experiences that I will be able to give back to urban communities across the country.
Please support me and the Edgerley-Franklin Scholars! Your support is greatly appreciated!

The Edgerley-Franklin Urban Leadership group is supported by both the Edgerley and Franklin families to promote future engagement with the challenges facing urban communities and families. The Urban Leadership Scholars Program seeks to shape the next generation of great American urban leaders. Urban Leadership Scholars will have the knowledge to make sound judgments, the character to flourish under the pressures of leadership, and the vision to bring new solutions to our nation's most pressing urban needs. They will influence and inspire future generations to value education, hard work, and achieve academic and career success.
Over Spring break they will be traveling to Boston, Massachusetts for an educational, service trip focusing on the importance of youth development in urban communities. This trip will allow them to actively engage with a community in need and live out their mission of service as they work with the Boys & Girls Club of Boston. They will have the opportunity to interact directly with youth as mentors and tutors providing career guidance and college preparation support. In addition, they will have the opportunity to learn about the operations of one of the most successful Boys & Girls Clubs in the country and the impact such programs have on urban youth. Your financial contribution for this trip will help the scholars to share in this priceless experience. Thank you very much for your consideration.
