Ella suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on February 8th, 2014. She endured 4 craniotomies and one of them awake. Ella spent 54 days at Randall Children's Hospital working to regain the strength on her right side which was lost with her stroke. She is now an active 12 year old who is learning to cope with a right side that doesn't always work. While in the hospital both parents stayed with her and used the Jackson Hill Wellness Center to help manage their stress and anxiety while dealing with shock of their lives changing on a dime. We support the efforts of the Jackson Hill Foundation with the message that you can get through the unthinkable, one step at a time.
