BENEFITING: No Stomach For Cancer
My mom, Ellie Jefferson is my hero. Here's why. She was an outstanding Spanish and German teacher. She loved to shop and play cards. She had a beautiful presense and personality. She knew how to get anywhere, and even if i thought i knew better, but didnt, shed never say so. She always smiled, even if she was in pain or sad. Shed put her sorrows to the side to help guide a friend. She showed her love in so many ways. She loved me, her friends, her family, and anyone who crossed her path. She'd do or drop anything to help someone. She was an angel. She had a brain aneurysm in 1996, but beat it. She had stage 3 breast cancer in 2006 but she beat it. In 2012, she was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. It beat her. She was taken away from us on May 2nd. She fought, was brave, and never showed how scared she was. For all that she has done for me, and all that I couldn't do to save her from this awful cancer, I need to raise awareness and funds to help others who may be able to beat their stomach cancer some day. Please help me, for my mom, my best friend, and for all those unfortunate people that will be diagnosed. We can help together.
