Elliott Wants to Mow the Lawn
Organized by: Susan Mullen
My son, Elliott feels so good about himself when he gets out of the house to mow the lawn just like his older brother does, but he is only able to make a couple passes on the lawn before he has to stop. You see, Elliott was born with a serious heart condition called Shone's Complex. He has four open heart surgeries to make repairs to his heart and will likely have more surgeries in the future. If he had a self-propelled mower, as opposed to our push mower, he could help mow the lawn just like most other twelve-year-olds. I know it gives him a sense of accomplishment. He just can't do it with a traditional push mower. So I am asking for a donation, no matter how small, so we can purchase this mower for our son to use. It may seem like it's a small thing to someone else, but it means something to him to be able to do his part. Thank you in advance for anything you can give.
