BENEFITING: EMERGENT LEADERS NETWORK
A few years ago I launched the Emergent Leaders Network (ELN), a non-profit organization I co-founded with fellow community college alum, Jean Schindler. ELN is dedicated to building a global community of young leaders by providing scholarships, mentoring, and professional networks to community college students and alumni. The mission is simple: pay it forward and help students finish college and succeed.
With ELN's Microscholarship initiative, you can create real lasting change in the life of an emerging leader. Donate today and 100% of your donation supports a micro-scholarship for students in financial need!
ELN launched its first micro-scholarships, starting with California, Virginia, and DC Community Colleges. California alone serves nearly 3 million students annually and enrolls the state’s lowest-income students, with a quarter having incomes of less than $5,544 per year. These students can benefit significantly from small scholarships that cover course fees, books and other academic expenses. ELN micro-scholarships are also a form of recognition, an award that students can list on their resumes as an affirmation of their hard work and potential. Education makes a difference, and SO CAN YOU!
