I am going to be travelling to Tucson Arizona this coming November to do a 109 mile bike ride for charity. I'm joining a team for the ride, and we are raising money to support a local charity called Make Way for Books! The charity is new to me, but I've learned a lot in a short while. They do a lot of programs to help increase litteracy in preschool children, impacting over 30,000 children and families, as well as supporting more than 500 teachers a year!
How you can get involved -
- Donate money
- Do the ride with us!
- Share this campaign with people who might do either or both!

The fine print, from Ally Baehr, Director of Community Engagement at MWFB :
Ride El Tour de Tucson and help raise funds for Make Way for Books!! We help put more books into the hands of young children and make sure they are ready to read and succeed when they get to school.
You can help in a variety of ways!
1. You can donate to our fundraiser and that would be super cool and awesome!
2. You can become a fundraising team member! All you have to do is collect $500 in donations and we will pay your entrance fee to El Tour de Tucson, give you a Make Way for Books jersey, and if you raise $1,000, you get a super prestigious El Tour Conquistador trophey!
3. You can buy our jersey ($75) and pay your own entrance fee ($135) and ride with our team with no fundraising expectations! You just need to register through Make Way for Books please!
