*Just a Few Days Ago* Early this year I was blessed with the opportunity of a lifetime. Friendship with the bravest and strongest people I've ever met. These 2 young ladies have been through so much in their lives and I know it wasn't an accident that I met them. They taught me the power of trust and that it's okay to not be perfect. All in the midst of their struggles they always keep trying. Of course, as the third wheel I've helped to keep the hobbling wheelbarrow going.:) My friends Ember and Frankiee are currently experiencing employment issues. Their work hours have been from full time to a bare minimum part time if you could call it that even. Therefore, they are now in a state of emergency. They are extremely worried about their bills for rent, utilities, groceries and medical expenses for required doctor visits and prescriptions; as well as gas for getting to work. The paycheck that they will get at the end of the month will not be enough forall of those things. I've been pitching in as well, monetarily, but I cannot do it alone, though I've tried. As a result, we are reaching out for help for just the next 2 to 3 months. They cannot afford to lose their home as they would have no place to go. Fortunately, their situation is beginning to turn around a bit. There are better job opportunities on the table, but in order to reach those goals they need to survive long enough to get a foot in the door, and be able to make it on their own. I know they can do it:) If this were you and you suddenly lost your job and had very little to no support you would want help from somewhere as well. Furthermore, I've been there myself, I've been homeless and it is not something I'd wish on even my worst enemy. Life happens sometimes, and it happens to everyone. But how will we choose to go through life when it does happen? Please reach out and help out guys, with whatever you can. The smallest can become the greatest. They will be on their feet in no time and I know they will never forget a moment like this. And I know you won't regret saving a life, I haven't:) **UPDATE** Hey, everyone, it's been a few days and there is good news and bad news. The good news is that Ember was able to land a job and has just started the position at the beginning of the week. Way to go Ember! I was ecstatic upon hearing the news.Things are finally looking up. Of course, life has many cards to pull and boy, some of the hands it deals sometimes. The bad news is that Ember & Frankiee's landlord has decided to sell their home and has given them 2 weeks to find a new place. Crazy right? My friends now need the finances for moving for a U-haul, to help assist with their deposit and transferring their utilities over. This is going to cost extra on top of them needing provisions for the next few months. It's going to be a bumpy few weeks for them. My friends do have jobs, unfortunately they just got back on their feet and landed positions about a wek ago and the other just this week. They can't afford any sort of moving expenses right now. If anyone can give anything at all please do so. If we can meet our goal and my friends would be very blessed by your giving. Remember, we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give:) Thanks for your support!
