Emergency Relief for Haiti 2016
Organized by: Michael Lauzardo
The University of Florida community has close ties to Haiti through research, education, service, and personal relationships. Many people with whom we work have experienced devastation in their community from Hurricane Matthew and now face a growing cholera epidemic and shortage of food. The funds raised through this effort will be used to provide emergency food, water, and shelter as directed by our partners on the ground in communities hit hard in and around Baraderes Haiti on the southern peninsula.
