BENEFITING: Interfaith Social Services Inc.
As a member of the Feed the Hungry Gala Committee, I am helping to raise money to provide food and groceries for my neighbors, diapers for young children whose families depend on Interfaith’s food pantry, mental health counseling for individuals who would otherwise have had nowhere else to turn, and backpacks, Halloween costumes, Thanksgiving meals, and Christmas presents to the families that Interfaith serves.
I invite you to make a donation here to support this effort and help reach the goal.
I would also encourage you to find a food pantry in your local community to donate a bag of food to. In addition to canned goods and foods that are high in protein, most food pantries also need items like spices, jelly, fresh produce and toiletries like toothpaste, toilet paper, diapers, feminine products, and deodorant.
If you don't have a local food pantry in your area, consider creating a Little Pantry in your neighborhood.
