Stuff About Me:

Hello friends!

As many of you know, I participated as a dancer in the 2011 UNC Dance Marathon and I have spent this year as a Dance Marathon Hospital Committee member. As a committee member, I've had the opportunity to meet some of the awesome kiddos that DM aims to serve. And I'm ready to DANCE again! This year my goal is to go BIGGER, better, and CrAzIeR with my fundraising and attitude towards the event.

Since freshman year, Dance Marathon has become much more personal for me. I have spent the past two summers working at Victory Junction Camp - a Serious Fun camp for children that have chronic illnesses and special needs. Camp has taught me a great deal about myself and the world, and has opened my eyes to how truly blessed I am. I consider it a gift to have the ability to stand up and dance for twenty-four hours!

Many of the incredible children that I have met through camp are patients of NC Children's Hospital. So as I dance, I will be dancing for my campers!

I would appreciate any help that you feel led to give me - whether it is thinking encouraging thoughts, helping me reach my monetary goal, or showing up at Fetzer Gym on FEBRUARY 16TH to wake me up during hour #23!

Thank you!
