Diagnosed in 2013 with stage 1 Her2+ breast cancer at the age of 33, I run now to raise awareness and funds for a disease that affects so many people. As a two year survivor I feel extremely lucky that this was caught so early and early detection is the key. I know that Komen CT works hard to raise awareness, funds and research to help others be so fortunate. I hope you'll join me in fighting this together.
Did you know that Connecticut has the HIGHEST incidence of breast cancer in the U.S. with over 3,000 Connecticut women diagnosed annually? Komen Connecticut needs YOU as a part of our crusade to end breast cancer forever. Your fundraising efforts will help save the lives of Connecticut women.
More treatment. More research. More survivors. A cure.
