Empower Clothesline Project

Hey all, this is the last time you will see this post... All I ask is that you read it... I know it's a bit lengthy but it kind of explains what the clothesline project is all about and why it is important.

A Clothesline Project is a visual display that bears witness to violence against men, women and children. During the public display a clothesline is hung with shirts. Each shirt is to represent a particular person's experience. By the survivor themselves or by someone who cares about them.

Project is fourfold:

1. To bear witness to survivors as well as victims.
2. Help with the healing process for families and survivors.
3. Educate and raise community awareness of the extent of the problem of domestic violence.
4. Provide a network of resources and support.

Our clothesline project is a fundraiser to benefit "A Safe Place" in Salem NH. They are an advocate group and resource to help those struggling with domestic violence.

Children are welcome, but please note that this is a tough subject for many.

Please spread the word so this can be an outreach to anyone in our community struggling silently.

Thank You
