Heshima Kenya specializes in identifying and protecting unaccompanied and separated refugee children and youth, especially girls, young women and their children living in Nairobi, Kenya. Our shelter, education and community outreach services, coupled with local resources and the refugee community, empower this population to live healthy lives. By providing resources for long-term support, these girls and young women become catalysts for strengthening networks creating sustainable change within the local and global communities.
$17 will provide a tailoring starter kit (needles, thread, scissors, measuring tape) for 1 girl in the tailoring program
$25 will provide 1 girl with school supplies for one year (including books, notebooks, handouts and pens)
$50 will pay for the daily transport and lunch fees for 1 girl attending the Girls' Empowerment Project for one month
$100 will pay for one year of medical assistance for 1 girl
