BENEFITING: The ALS Association
NFL VP of Officiating Dean Blandino stated that, "We did spot checks throughout the year, and we measured PSI levels and recorded that information." Despite this, the National Football League has refused to make these measurements public, most likely because the league office is embarassed by the fact that it was unaware of the Ideal Gas Law and its implications on air pressure. Funds will only be sent to the ALS charity after Dean Blandino, Troy Vincent, Mike Kensil, Jeff Pash, Greg Aiello, Roger Goodell, or another NFL-authorized spokesperson publicly release the PSI measurements taken from footballs throughout the 2016 season. Every day the NFL refuses to release 2016 PSI data is another day deprived of charity funding to help cure the awful disease that is ALS.
