Enhancing Technology for Hearing Impaired and Deaf
Organized by: Brian Stubbs
Hi Friends My name is Brian Stubbs and I am in the process of working with a professional who owns a family based business, For Sale by Inventor; who is currently helping me bridge the gap between an idea and reality by helping those who: 1.Have Hearing Aids 2. Have Cochlear Implants I am deaf myself and have a cochlear implant. I lost my hearing in 1995 in a tragic accident which resulted in a handful of injuries, including a bruised brain stem which left me deaf. I have been implanted since 1998 and think its the best technology in the world for those that want to join or rejoin the hearing world. My idea is to help transform this industry by making the Hearing Aided community; young and old, more comfortable with their Hearing Apparatuses by: Keeping them powered throughout the day, period! Not dealing with wires that get old and worn out quickly and need replaced. (Cochlear Implants) No more having to switch batteries No more losing power when you are at work in the middle of talking to someone No more having to have people repeat themselves because you can not hear as well because your battery went out. No more forgetting to bring an extra battery No more having to deal with wires going bad and needing replaced Call it an invention upgrade but I know it will help everybody who is close to someone hearing impaired or are that way themselves. Because I am in the middle of working on getting the patent process rolling I have to keep it at that. But I know that since I am hearing impaired myself and have worked with many older adults who are hearing impaired themselves, worked for a nursing home, that this can and will indeed make thoseP lives a little bit better though the use of better technology.
