BENEFITING: Enterprise Community Partners
ORGANIZER: Enterprise Community Partners
The city of Baltimore needs you now more than ever. You can provide hope and support for the youth of Baltimore by contributing today.
Enterprise's Mentoring Program has been working with young children in Baltimore’s Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood for years, but we need your support in order to keep this program alive for the school years to come, and for the future generations of our community.
Your gift will help do the following:
• $50 – You provide general support for the Mentoring Program.
• $100 – You can sponsor a workshop for the Mentees.
• $250 - You can support our mentoring celebration at the end of the school year
• $500 – You can co-sponsor a field trip.
Since 2003, the Mentoring Program, supported by the Enterprise Women’s Network, has helped more than 200 school children in grades three through eight at William Pinderhughes Elementary/Middle School in Sandtown-Winchester.
In addition to one-on-one time that the kids and their mentors share, the Mentoring Program hosts sessions that provide in depth discussions about topics such as arts and culture, women’s issues, academics and relationships. The Program also offers three field trips a year: a tour and visit of a college or university; a cultural institution; and an outdoor experience. For many of these young children, this is the first time they have left the boundaries of their neighborhood, and the first time that they are exposed to the world outside of their city blocks.
Thank you for your generosity!
