Our oxygen environment can no longer afford the mindless few seconds it takes to carelessly slaughter a single tree that for each one has taken 10 years to mature. Likewise, for every 9 seconds it takes to kill a tree will roughly require 315,360,000 seconds to replace it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYKg0gbRFns
Rather than wait for people to be able to afford fruit trees tomorrow, we will continue to give them away for free today. With your donations, combined with our family’s experience and compassion to cultivate fruit bearing trees for US zones 3-11, we together can offer free fruit tree saplings to anyone in the US continent (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and California) who wish to join us in improving the health and future of our environment by planting a tree today.
HISTORY OF CURRENT DECLINE
A single human breathes about 9.5 tonnes of air in a year, but oxygen only makes up about 23 percent of that air, by mass, and we only extract a little over a third of the oxygen from each breath. That works out to a total of about 740kg of oxygen per year. Which is, very roughly, seven or eight trees' worth per person required for healthy sustainability. Sourcehttp://www.sciencefocus.com
Global greening of our planet includes the excessive algae growths that have short life spans that quickly create acid from their die-offs. The acid and toxins from these die-offs are choking out and killing our clean water resources, and destroying our fragile ecosystem and fish habitats. This global greening will continue to increase due to the continuous rise of carbon dioxide CO2 in the atmosphere that has been increasing every year due to the slaughter of trees by insufficiently regulated land development and manufacturing of fossil fuels that continues to be pumped, fracked and piped daily. Sinkholes are often the final results of dead tree's decaying root systems.
Planting trees today will start absorbing the CO2 from the atmosphere before too much of it, otherwise, is consumed by uncontrollable algae blooms of rampant growth in our lakes and water supplies. Trees can naturally filter and purify our ground waters and restore air quality. New root systems are what is needed to binde the earth’s surface for a sturdier earth foundation of less land erosion and shifting.
These majestic trees will grow and provide our neighbors the fruits of our labors while providing a natural welcoming home for birds and all animals alike. And let’s not forget the shade from these trees can drop the air temperatures directly under them as much as 25°F cooler than air temperatures above nearby developed roads and structures. WE ALL CAN DO A SMALL PART by planting at least one tree today. Please join us in this effort to ensure that the future of our children will not be left breathless.
