BENEFITING: Catholic Near East Welfare Association
We want to tell you about a compassionate place in Lebanon. It has a history that dates back to 1885.
It’s called the St. Vincent de Paul School. Located in Broummana, near Beirut, it provides education, food, housing — and hope — to 120 poor girls and boys. And right now, they lack simple essentials that no child should live without.
Their threadbare uniforms and shoes — repaired by the sisters and passed down from student to student — have finally worn out. And because the kids sleep at the school, they need replacements for their modest bedding, which is falling apart after years of use.
Most of the children come from families devastated by violence, alcoholism, and unemployment. The care their school provides is the only bright spot in their lives.
It’s why EOL (Education and Opportunities for Lebanon) and CNEWA are trying to raise $27,800 to help the school and its students. We hope you'll join us and make it happen.
Won't you help make life better for these girls and boys? They need all the support we can give.
These wonderful kids are Lebanon's future. Help us make that future bright with your donation, and please send it today. Thank you!
