Helps us to make a difference in the lives of youth and adults who deserve a second chance, An opportunity to succeed, and a way to break the cycles in their family lives and communities.
The East of the River Clergy, Police, Community Partnership (ERCPCP) has been working in the community for nearly 13 years assisting the hardest to reach populations. Our work is directed towards at risk and high-risk youth as well as ex-offenders in Wards 7 and 8 of Washington, DC. Through strategic programming and partnerships, the efforts of our organization are focused on achieving community wellness with an emphasis on public safety.
ERCPCP strives to help those who have become victims of the social ills in our communities. We envision that individuals and communities will experience healing, restoration and transformation from brokenness to healthy, self-sustaining, and holistic neighborhoods through the collaborative work of the clergy, law enforcement, community organizations and individuals like you. In order to facilitate the restoration and transformation we seek within our community, we are committed to building powerful alliances that strengthen human capital and ultimately lead to communities that are whole. We believe that our bridge building efforts cultivate visionary change agents who have the support systems needed to transform the reality surrounding them.
Through our efforts and collective strategies, we expect to see greater individual self sufficiency, service efficiency, supportive collaborations, commitment to community wellness and self-sustaining communities.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
Help us to raise the most in the #RiseToThrive Charity Challenge from September 10 - October 22, 2013. If we win, we all win... every donation counts! With your support we can assist more low-income residents needing supportive services, transition more returning citizens back into the community with employment and stable housing, provide wraparound services to more juveniles who have been involved in the criminal justice system, and provide mentoring, resources and training opportunities to more at-risk youth through our gender based conferences.
HERE’S WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO NEXT:
Donate – Donate – Donate! The more money we raise, the better and we’re hoping to raise the most. Why? Here’s why… the organization that raises the most will receive an additional $25,000 grant to put towards their work. Now that’s motivation! Our community needs this support.
Share one and all! Share this link with all your networks to help us raise the funds to win the contest!
