Cervivor has played an integral role in my life since I first attended Cervivor School in San Diego in September 2015. Since attending Cervivor I have been able to more effectively advocate for cervical cancer awareness. Cervivor lit a spark in me and the organization continues to impact me in positive ways on a daily basis. Through the sharing of our stories, we can help to eradicate cervical cancer. We can make it so the next generation doesn't have to go through what I am going through. We can be the change. I utilize my blog, www.tealelfs.com, for much of my advocacy work and through Cervivor I have been able to expand my reach by being on the news and participating on a variety of panels related to cervical cancer awareness. Please consider donating to my Cervivor Challenge, every dollar counts. Cervivor Mission Statement: Cervivor is a community, a learning tool, an advocacy resource, and an online retreat for healing, connecting and thriving. We at Cervivor want women dealing with HPV or cervical cancer to know they are not alone. We are a circle of friends, a circle of support and a circle of hope. Our network of survivors and their friends are all part of this circle – offering support for those who have received a diagnosis, education to those who want to learn how to protect themselves from cervical cancer, and advocacy to everyone who wants to help us stamp out this disease once and for all. Visit cervivor.org to learn how you can get involved.
