Haymakers For Hope via Crowdrise
September 17, 2012
Unfortunately, cancer is a disease that affects almost everyone at some point of their lives. Either directly or through people you know, love or are friends with. I'm participating in Haymakers for Hope because I've fallen into those categories. I've seen friends and family's courage and determination, and it is inspiring. It's amazing, how much progress we have achieved in medicine and treatment. The more we get involved, the stronger we get to fighting the disease.
I love boxing. I love the idea of fighting for a cause rather then a grudge. This gives me the opportunity to truly put my blood, sweat, tears, into something that impacts so many lives. I've ran races for charity before, but there is no commitment like boxing. We all have to be committed to achieve this goal.
Thank you for coming to my page and for all of your support. I'll be sure to give my heart and soul on November 8th at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. Any donation towards this cause on my behalf would be greatly appreciated and one step to making a difference.
