Erich Gross crossed the finish line on his second journey to the Boston Marathon! Keep supporting Erich as he continues to raise money for Special Olympics Northern Santa Barbara County. Erich has been supporting the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics for 15 years. He took it upon himself to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics during his journey to run in the 2013 Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013. Fortunately, Erich was delayed as he approached the finish line, causing him and other runners to be stopped just after bombs went off in the area; he was unable to complete the race. Erich, symbolically finished the Boston Marathon at the Bull Canyon Run, in honor of the Boston Marathon bombing victims and received his Boston Marathon medal as part of the Bull Canyon Run ceremonies. Through Erich’s personal efforts, he raised over $8,000 for Special Olympics Northern Santa Barbra County in 2013 and has set a new goal of $20,000.
