During my time at Weil Gotshal, through another attorney, I found out about an incredible organization called iMentor (https://www.imentor.org/). Through iMentor, I was paired with a 9th grader in a New York City public school. Once shy, certain that college wasn’t right for him and reluctant to share and speak with me, my mentee is now a gregarious, handsome senior at Manhattan Bridges High School who works hard in school and at his job at McDonald’s, writes rap songs in his spare time (which he promptly sends to me) and is eagerly awaiting word on college acceptance. Being able to watch him ascend and succeed, personally, aspirationally, academically and otherwise, has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling in ways I could never truly articulate in this short space. I'm a fan. Help me raise some money to help iMentor continue the fabulous work it does on behalf of young people everywhere.
