BENEFITING: Homeless Children's Network
EVENT DATE: Jul 15, 2013
Aside from X-Ray Vision (for helping doctors with surgery) and Super-Strength (so I can literally raise the roof on the dancefloor), I've been lucky enough to approach my 25th birthday with pretty much everything that a guy my age could possibly want.
Unfortunately, this isn't true for hundreds of children in the SF Bay Area who are currently growing up homeless and more often than not, are victims of domestic violence.
Instead of presents (or alcohol hazing) for my birthday this year, I'd love for you to help me make an impact on the lives of these children.
What does The Homeless Children Network do?
The Homeless Children Network provides thousands of children every year with many basic needs including mental health services, housing, and aftercare.
Why did you select this charity?
I've been working at a law firm in San Francisco this summer and I've been in contact with a few different organizations that work with homeless people. The Homeless Children's Network is an organization that I've seen do great things from first hand experience.
How much should I donate?
Whatever you want. I'll suggest a donation of my soon-to-be-age (25) in dollars though.
