Erin Lange Memorial & Tribute Fund
Organized by: Lange Family
** 8/1/15: Watch this video to learn a bit more about Erin's journey and love for her kids - and please share it with your networks so we can achieve our match goal of $65,000. The matching donor will then contribute $25,000, bringing the fund to $90,000! **
A mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend and colleague, Erin Lange was a true inspiration to anyone who had the privilege to meet her. Her combination of strength, determination, absolute honesty and unending compassion set her apart within any crowd.
Her battle against cancer, which began in January of 2010, was long and often triumphant. She approached each stage of treatment with her fighting spirit and was willing to attempt anything to have more time with her children. With that as her focus, she recently settled in Nashville, Tennessee at Vanderbilt University Medical Center to participate in a new round of clinical trials. Unfortunately, Nashville is also where Erin’s battle ended. On July 13, surrounded by her family and comforted by her faith she entered the Kingdom of Heaven.
Erin leaves behind her husband J.P. and three young children, twin boys Gannon and Gage (8), and daughter Teagan (7). Erin’s children meant the world to her. To make their future lives a bit less challenging, we ask anyone who is able to please contribute to the Erin Lange Children’s Education Trust.
The money raised will enable Gannon, Gage and Teagan to continue their mother’s legacy with an education and the opportunity to have a real impact in the professions they choose.
We assume that with rising tuition costs, each of Erin and J.P’s children will need $25,000 per year to attend college. Erin has touched so many lives, now we have the opportunity to give back. Whether 300 people contribute $1,000 or 3,000 contribute $100, Erin’s children will benefit from your support.
Our sincere thanks to everyone who can donate. Each of you affirm our knowledge that though we have lost our beloved Erin, she will never be forgotten.
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall their be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
