I’m excited to attempt my first marathon in Boston with the WUNners team this April. David and Monica Gow have been both friends and mentors to me for almost 20 years. I have been inspired by their work and dedication on behalf of their son Thomas, who has narcolepsy, and all who are living with narcolepsy. I’m thrilled that I can do a small part to assist in their efforts and get the word out to others.
I enjoy running most with my 10-year-old son, Nicholas. We have run in over a dozen 5Ks in the last three years, and he always seems to beat me by a step or two. Training for my first marathon has been a big challenge. I’m hopeful that training here in Denver will help when I run in Boston at sea level.
I’m thrilled to have the support of my wife, Miri, Nicholas, and my daughter Natalia. We have lived in Denver for almost seven years, and before that in Connecticut and Massachusetts. I work in finance at a real estate company based in Denver that owns apartment communities throughout the United States. My job gives me the opportunity to travel, and I always enjoy my trips back to New England.
I hope my running provides WUN a new group of supporters, and I look forward to crossing that finish line with my WUNner teammates and all the Boston finishers!
