It's that time again - THE REGATTA! We will be sea kayaking a 13.5 mile race course around Alcatraz. Sean and I (with Jeff as our strong third in our triple kayak) are in it to win it this year.
The annual Sea Trek Regatta and Paddle-a-thon is a chance for the Bay Area paddling community to share in a fun and challenging day of paddling on San Francisco Bay and raise money for Environmental Traveling Companions’ (ETC) accessible outdoor adventure programs.
Come join us on Saturday October 15th for the West Coast’s largest, most popular, and definitely most fun sea kayaking event of the year. The Regatta is open to sea kayakers, stand-up paddlers, outriggers, and other paddling boats.
With a variety of race classes and courses, the Regatta and Paddle-a-thon is perfect for paddlers looking to race competitively as well as those who are just looking for a spirited paddling event to support a great cause!
If you can't join us on October 15 on the water, please consider donating to our boat and this amazing cause. Every little bit will help to get kids these kids out on the water experiencing the things we all take for granted everyday.
