I first heard about the Depression in Families Project when I got involved with a research clerkship class during my graduate studies. I was excited to find out that the project was a combination of research and theater in order to enlighten the public on mental health issues. For about nine months now I, plus countless others, have collected real stories from real people about their experiences with depression, transcribed those stories, and immersed myself in workshops to turn the stories into plays all the while meeting some truly incredible people. The ETD staff and volunteers have worked diligently to put the Depression in Families Project together and I hope you will join us in spreading the word and giving back to a company that aims to open your mind and your heart. Thank you for helping us reach our goal. Sincerely, Elissa, Team Leader.
