Eva Ochoa Memorial Fund
Organized by: Chris Whitener
Eva Ochoa was a loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and source of happiness to all who knew her. She was one of 9 children and the 2nd daughter to pass after a long fight with cancer. A disease that also took her mothers life and that some of her sisters are also dealing with. She was the happiest person you could have known. Growing up the youngest out of so many siblings, she was always the one to see only love in her family and who never took things too seriusly because she preferred to laugh and enjoy life rather than ever get caught up in the drama that can happen amongst such a big family. She leaves behind three children and a husband that she loved so much and that drove her to fight so hard against this disease, when so many would have given up. She fought for 5 long years while suffering an unimaginable amount of pain due to the severity of her cancer, because she couldn't leave her children behind, the youngest of which is only 10. Those 5 years have not only taken a emotional toll on her children and family but also a financial toll. This is especially because her remaining siblings have had to deal with their own battles with cancer while trying to help her in anyway they could. We all loved her very much and we are asking for family and friend's help, to give Eva the burial she deserves after such a hard life. She will be missed but not forgotten.
