Founded in 1908 and located in Scranton's historic Nay Aug Park, the Everhart Museum of Natural History, Science & Art is the largest general museum in Northeastern Pennsylvania. For over 100 years, the Museum has delighted the region with an ever changing selection of exhibits and programs.
Our mission is quite simple! "We believe in the power of the Everhart Museum to spark the imagination, challenge thought and provide enjoyment. Through our collections, exhibits and programs, we strive to integrate natural history, science and art into the lives of people."
General support for the Museum is received from the Lackawanna County Office of Arts & Culture, the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission, and the City of Scranton.
