In 2013, IHF granted Airpower Foundation funding to provide Chief Warrant Officer 5 (Ret.) Gary Linfoot with an Ekso Bionics exoskeleton suit for personal use, making him the first military veteran to receive one for in-home use. Ekso Bionics makes a wearable exoskeleton that enables individuals with paralysis to stand and walk again. Linfoot’s daily use of the exoskeleton suit is helping to collect critical data and foster awareness of this breakthrough technology.
Help Infinite Hero Foundation and Air Power Foundation raise $150,000 for the Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center’s first exoskeleton that will aid in the rehabilitation experience of hundreds of wounded warriors.
