Engineers Without Borders - Asheville Chapter has been planning a project over several years which involves improving access to clean water for the residents of Uluthe, Kenya. Uluthe is a small village of around 700 people and is part of the Mungao sublocation of 8,000 people in the Western part of Kenya near Lake Victoria. I've been fortunate to be included as a member of the 'implementation team' which will travel to Kenya assist in the completion of the project. Our goal is to provide the existing health clinic, which currently has no source of clean water, with a well. I sincerely thank you for your support to help cover travel expenses for me and my team.
