BENEFITING: Northwest Center
Northwest Center’s goal has always been to consistently transcend traditional adult employment services by offering more, working harder, and constantly striving to be the best in the business. Our innovative School-To-Work program for young adults is a prime example of our constant commitment to excellence. Last year, we began offering a critically needed extra year for young adults to learn, grow, and become employed when they leave high school. Currently, we are the only School-To-Work program that offers this extra service.
This year, the program has a $5,000 deficit which we must fund to keep on providing this extra year of service.
Without programs such as School-To-Work, talented and eager young adults such as Faiza (pictured left) risk graduating into nothingness - emerging into a world with very limited options. Our pilot project to provide the extra year of service has been a success, but now we need your help to keep up the good work. King County does not fund this extra year of service for School-To-Work, we have to do it ourselves.
We know that you care deeply about Northwest Center’s mission and that’s why we’re asking you to contribute to and share our Crowdrise campaign with friends and family. It’s an easy way to contribute directly while connecting with people who may want to know more about Northwest Center’s mission.
