BENEFITING: Experience Camps
ORGANIZER: Experience Camps
My dad died when I was 12. It was awful. I felt isolated and scared and sad.
I am dedicated to helping kids who have experienced a similar loss. Experience Camps are for kids who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling. It's a place where kids can laugh, cry, play, create, remember the person who died, or forget the grief that weighs them down. It's a place where they can feel "normal", because everyone there has been through something similar and understands what it's like to lose someone important to them. It's a home away from home.
This year, we're raising money to keep the magic going, expanding our camper numbers, camp locations and year-round programs so that campers can stay connected and never feel alone in their grief.
Please consider making a donation. Thanks!
