BENEFITING: SILICON VALLEY ACADEMY PROJECT
In this project, each student receives $250 dollars to start their own business. The goal is to create a business that will raise the most money for the charity of their choice. Students may work independently, or combine their resources with other classmates. Results will be published in May.
This project will be piloted in Valley International Academy- an international, interfaith high school. It is a hand-on, real world activity allowing students to learn and practice emotional intelligence and entrepreneurship in a meaningful way. This project is designed by Adam Fee, National Trainer for US Department of Education Model of Academic Excellence, Project GLAD, who will guide each student through this learning experience.
