On October 23 & 24, our team, "Eye of the Tiger" will run the Tuna 200.....AGAIN! We are back, our second year, to support Alzheimers North Carolina. Last year, we were raising money for this awesome cause all the while proving that we could stretch ourselves to the limit. This year, we KNOW we can do it, and we are pumped. We have some veteran faces, and are so excited to add some new!
As a team, we will be running a 200 mile, scenic relay from Raleigh to Atlantic Beach....bearing the weather, little food, next to no sleep, delirium, and best of all, friendship, team support, your support, and the smell of victory and tuna at the finish line over the span of 30 hours!
We would not be able to do this without YOU! We hope you will be a part of our team's journey in helping us reach our $5,000 fundraising goal. All 100% of donations will remain in North Carolina to support research, respite, caregiver conferences, and workshops. All donations are tax deductable.
If you are interested in making a donation offline, you may send a check payable to Alzheimers North Carolina (please note with your check that the donation is for "Eye of the Tiger" and who it is in honor of). Checks can be sent to Alzheimers North Carolina, 1305 Navaho Dr., Suite 101, Raleigh, NC 27609. You may also call (919)832-3732 to make a credit card donation. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and the entire team truly appreciates your support!
