We will be posting facts and faces over the next few days to show you what we do at FACES, AND HOW WE SPEND OUR DONATIONS! This project means  See more

THE STORY:

Wandering and Drowning are the main causes of death youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Safety and Survival are the goals for FACES 4 Autism: Massi's Mission Program.

Swim Safety Program

FACES 4 Autism has a special autism safety initiative called Massi's Mission. Massi's Mission allows us to offer swim scholarships for area adapted swim classes so families can feel comfortable knowing their child has the necessary skills for swim safety and survival in the water. There are several area swim clubs which offer the adapted classes and they are able to help families with the application process, or they can contact FACES 4 Autism to find a swim program near them.  Our goal is to educate many new children this summer.

Elopement Safety Program

We will continue working with Project Lifesaver through the Atlantic and Cape May County Sheriff's Offices to fund local individuals in need of tracking devices.
Sheriff Frank Balles welcomes community support on this issue, and wants to help us provide training for officers and first responders.
If your loved one wanders, please consider looking into this Project Lifesaver program.
